Terms of Service

Effective date: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of isalootu, operated by isalootu. By creating an account, connecting a third-party account, submitting a video URL, generating a clip, downloading an artifact, or requesting an upload, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

isalootu helps users create short-form clips from submitted video sources, including supported YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Bluesky, and Snapchat URLs. The service may download source segments, monitor live source URLs you add or connected channels you enable, transcribe audio, ask an LLM provider for clip planning, render captions and edits, store generated MP4/JSON artifacts, optionally upload or publish clips to a connected YouTube, Google Drive, TikTok, or Bluesky account, and create public signed share pages for Snapchat link sharing.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be old enough to use this service and any connected third-party platform under the laws and platform rules that apply to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the confidentiality of your login credentials, and all activity under your account.

3. Your Content and Permissions

You keep ownership of content you submit or generate through the service. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, copy, transcode, analyze, render, store, display, and transmit your submitted content and generated clips solely to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service and to complete actions you request.

You are responsible for making sure you have all rights, permissions, licenses, and consents needed to submit source material, generate clips, store artifacts, create share pages, download files, and upload, publish, or share content to YouTube, Google Drive, TikTok, Bluesky, Snapchat, or any other platform.

4. Connected Platforms

YouTube, Google Drive, TikTok, Bluesky, Snapchat, Twitch, Google, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Render, video source websites, and other third-party services are not controlled by us. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, policies, API rules, quotas, review requirements, and account decisions. We are not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, moderation decisions, upload failures, account restrictions, takedowns, monetization decisions, or content visibility settings.

If you use YouTube features through isalootu, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. isalootu uses YouTube API Services and must also follow applicable YouTube API Services terms and developer policies.

When you request an upload, post, native clip, or connected-channel monitor, you authorize us to use your connected account credentials to perform that requested action. TikTok may publish directly or send content to an inbox for review depending on the app configuration, connected scopes, and TikTok platform rules. YouTube uploads use the privacy setting configured in the app or job settings. Google Drive uploads save generated clip files to the connected Drive account. Bluesky posts publish generated video clips to the connected Bluesky account. Twitch credentials are used to identify and monitor your connected channel and, when requested, ask Twitch to create native raw Twitch clips. YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Bluesky, and Snapchat URLs may be used as clip sources, but this app does not upload rendered MP4 files back to source-only platforms such as Twitch or Snapchat. Snapchat sharing opens a user-controlled share flow using a public signed clip page; it is not an automatic backend publish to a Snapchat account.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to:

• Violate copyright, privacy, publicity, contract, platform, or other rights.
• Upload, generate, or publish unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, deceptive, exploitative, or non-consensual content.
• Process content involving minors in a way that is unlawful, exploitative, or inconsistent with platform rules.
• Misrepresent ownership, endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or the source of content.
• Bypass rate limits, security controls, access controls, or third-party platform restrictions.
• Reverse engineer, overload, scrape, interfere with, or disrupt the service.
• Use generated content for spam, scams, impersonation, surveillance, or other abusive conduct.

6. Generated Output

Generated transcripts, captions, summaries, clip selections, hashtags, effects, and other outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for publication. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing or relying on it.

7. Storage, Downloads, and Deletion

Generated artifacts may be stored in object storage and made available through signed URLs. Snapchat share pages are public to anyone with the signed page link. We may delete temporary files, failed jobs, old artifacts, or abusive content. You should keep your own copies of content you need to preserve. Deleting a job or disconnecting an integration may not remove content already posted, saved, or shared to third-party platforms; you must manage published or saved content directly on those platforms.

8. Copyright and Rights Complaints

If you believe content processed or stored through the service infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to identify the content and the rights at issue. We may remove or restrict access to content and may suspend repeat infringers or abusive users.

9. Plans, Fees, and Limits

The service may enforce quotas, file limits, job limits, upload limits, or feature limits. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you incur charges. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, abused the service, or caused harm to us, users, third-party platforms, or rights holders. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free, or that generated clips will satisfy third-party platform requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, content takedowns, account restrictions, or platform moderation actions. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim or 100 USD.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the service operator from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your uploads or publications, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights or third-party platform rules.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
